Testimonials

I have been leasing blinds (adjacent to Howard Slough Wildlife Refuge) from Northern Flight Duck Club (John Owen) for the past 2 seasons. I’m a veteran waterfowl hunter in the Sacramento basin for over 40 years. I have nothing but compliments for John and the entire operation. It’s not cheap to run this business, therefore it’s not cheap to hunt it. John has provided us with info about rice crop, water district, history of the area, biological reports, and to date no previous club manager has ever compared to his knowledge base and willingness to share it and assist. If you want quality management and a fair price, Northern Flight Duck Club is the way to go.

Hey John. Just wanted to let you know the people you have helping out are awesome. Bill, his son George are always willing to help hunters out to make sure they get birds. I took my niece on her first hunt today. George worked his dog for the last part of our hunt to make sure she had a good experience.

I was able to visit the fields yesterday. Thank again for the maps. I just want to say how much I appreciate the program that you offer. It is 1st class all the way and truly professional. Posted, nice signage, toilets, enough property that everyone should be plenty safe. Saw doves at all locations.....thanks again !

Well I have been telling everyone I know that I won’t do business with anyone else but you moving forward. You have been nothing but first class and it’s been really nice. Some of these dudes are impossible to even get an update on stuff. So my camp really appreciates you and your guys grinding for us.

John and his guys run a first class operation on great properties . If there is a concern, they are on top of it. I was trained by Orvis as a fly fishing guide and was in Colorado for 3 years with them. I was also trained by Squaw Valley as a ski guide. The level of professionalism by this duck club rivals the expectations my former employers demanded of me. Thanks for a great season John, see you next fall.

John is a stand up guy that is interested in quality hunting experiences. He plans his properties to offer top notch hunting with lots of space so each blind has room for ducks and geese to work in. Always a pleasure hunting with Northern Flight!

You would be TRULY Surprised how many times your name comes up when I talk to someone about people I can truly trust. You are on a list of ONE. I don’t think there's such a thing as a list of one.
